holiday in Queensland!!!

Canberra Trip!!!!!!

On Tuesday Mum, Dad and I woke up at 6.00am for me to get ready for Canberra. At 6.30am we left: my sister was sick so she couldn't come to say goodbye but I did say bye to her. Year 5 were supposed to meet each other in the school grounds. I felt terrible. I had a huge headache and my tummy was sore. Mum thought I was nervous but I wasn't. This trip went for four days.

Finally I saw my friends and it was time to go onto the bus. I wasn't felling well and I was going to miss my mummy and daddy and of course my sister. Time to hit the road. I hugged mum and dad. The first day we left in the morning and then had recess. We stayed there for a long time then we got on the bus again and left. Then we went to Questacon. it was so fun I think!!. Its just that I still felt sick so Mrs Ryman had to take me to the bus while every body else was having fun. Mrs Ryman called Mum and asked if I can have some pandol so I had some and felt much better then I and Mrs Ryman went to find my class and Year 6 (her class).

We ended up finding them in the clown room. i found my friends Bethany,Yuliana

and other friends. Yuliana was lining up for the free fall; Mr Prunty even went on the free fall (he's the Principal of the school.) Then we went to the motel and we went to the restaurant there and I had hot chips (wasn't very hungry) then there was dessert. I didn't have any because i felt sick again. I got to sit on the couch there but I seriously did not fell well.

And I ended up having fun!!

August is when mum and dad got married.
Usually it's windy in August.
Good weather to go to the park.

In the holidays my family and I and the Four Wheel Drive Club all went on a treasure hunt. Uncle Matt and Mick explamed how we were going to do it and then all the cars got a nuber. Dad's car was 13 so it finally got to hit the road. We found lots of stuff (treasure) and it was lunch time so we went to a place were you could get Thomas the Tank Engine and I had to go on it. I went on the ride with my friends Maddie and Katrina.

This is my dance teacher Mr Sargeant roller skating. He organised this exursion as a treat for working so hard at dance practice. A few weeks ago we tried out for a dance competition and we made it in.

Camping Weekend

The weekend before last, we went camping along the Bridle Track. Some people from my four wheel drive club came including me, Mum, Dad, Tegan and her boyfriend Lucas. The first day when we got there we set up the tent then after all the grown up men all left to get some wood. The ladies made a fire with the wood that was there meanwhile me, Tegan, and Lucas all went down to the river there was lots of mud. So we went into the mud, me and Lucas found a shoe but befor that Tegan went a cross the river and said "I'm too scared to get back!" so Lucas went over there. Lucas went across the river and picked her up and carried her across. It was funny. We also played with the vortex.

More About my Friends and Family

I have three best friends,they all get along well but one of my best friends Erin moved schools I still see her a lot but I miss her lots.My two other best friends are Tiarne and Chloe they fight some times but then they say sorry and become friends again :) . I have a pet cat called Oscar its a boy he's a siamese cat . He's really cute.I go on the internet on msn and talk to my peps (friends) and put it on web came so they can see me and I can see them. I love riding my bike to school and back even on weekends and holidays.My mum is a librarian; she works at a high school.My dad is a banker he use to work at Springwood but now he works at Windsor.

My name is Shelby Taylor. I am in Year 5. I like to dance - I dance every Friday and go in competitions with my dance group. My school is great because the principal and teachers are nice and people get along. I had a new teacher at the beginning of the year and is is strict but funny.

There are four members in my family. My mum has a different kind of style from lots of people, but I like it. She loves dark colours and her name is Sharon. I have a funny dad who loves four-wheel driving. I have an older sister named Tegan (she is almost fourteen) who can be mean sometimes, but we try to get along sometimes - not often!
